Delete your account
You can delete your WeddingSnap account yourself at any time. The same account is used on the website and in the WeddingSnap app for iPhone and Android, so deleting it once removes it everywhere.
Delete it yourself
- Sign in at weddingsnap.io with the email, Google or Apple sign-in you used to create the account. A phone's browser works too.
- Open Settings, then Danger zone, or go straight to weddingsnap.io/app/settings/danger-zone.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Deletion happens straight away and can't be undone. Download any photos you want to keep before you start.
Can't sign in?
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we'll delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, sign-in details and saved sessions
- Every event you created, with its guest page, albums, templates and design settings
- The photos and videos guests uploaded to your galleries
- Your purchase history in WeddingSnap
Any active subscription is cancelled when the account is deleted. Deleting an account doesn't refund a plan you've already paid for; see our refund policy for that.
What we keep
We keep records of print orders and payments where the law requires it, for example for tax and accounting. Payments made through Stripe, the App Store or Google Play are also recorded by those companies under their own policies.
Studio accounts
Deleting your login doesn't close a studio you run for your business. To close a studio and remove its events, email [email protected].
For more on how we handle your data, see our privacy policy.
