GuestPix Review (2026): Pricing, Limits, and the Best GuestPix Alternatives

GuestPix is the biggest name in wedding photo sharing. Its site claims more than 200,000 couples in 100+ countries and over 50 million uploads, and if you've searched for a QR code photo app you've almost certainly landed on it. It is a solid product. It is also the most expensive of the mainstream options for a single wedding, and its cheapest plan closes uploads three months after your event.

Disclosure: we make WeddingSnap, which competes with GuestPix. So this review sticks to what you can check. Every price, limit and feature below comes from GuestPix's own wedding pricing page, how-it-works page and FAQ, all read on September 20, 2026, and linked at the bottom. Where we give an opinion we label it.

The short version

• GuestPix is good at: unlimited photo and video uploads on every paid plan, a written and video guestbook, a live slideshow, digital invitations with RSVPs, and by far the best sign templates in the category (180+ editable Canva designs). Guests upload from the browser with no app.
• GuestPix is weak at: price and the entry plan's window. Classic is $49 and stops accepting uploads three months after the event; you pay $89 for Signature to get the 12-month window most competitors include. Guests also type their name before they can upload, which is one more step than some rivals ask for. There's no audio guestbook.
• Pick GuestPix if: you want RSVPs and photo sharing in one tool, you'll make matching signs and table cards in Canva, or you're running several events and want the three-gallery Bundle.
• Look elsewhere if: you want the lowest price for one wedding with no upload cap, or you want voice messages from guests. WeddingSnap is $39.99 with a 12-month window, live slideshow and audio guestbook; GuestCam is $49 with a web audio guestbook.

What GuestPix is

GuestPix is a browser-based gallery for events. You create an event, print or share a QR code, and guests scan it or tap a private link. There's no app store and no guest registration; guests land on your welcome screen, add their name, and upload photos, videos and guestbook messages. The host gets a dashboard, a live slideshow to play on a screen, "Super Albums" for organizing, and a ZIP download of everything in original resolution, sorted into folders by guest name.

The company sells the same product for weddings, parties, engagements, kids' parties, memorials and business events, with a separate pricing page for each. Its wedding page shows a 4.8 out of 5 rating from 46 reviews on its own site. We couldn't find a GuestPix profile on Trustpilot, so that rating is self-hosted rather than independently collected.

GuestPix pricing in 2026

GuestPix charges a one-time fee per event with no subscription and no auto-renewal. The gallery is hosted for 12 months from your event date, after which you can renew at a discounted rate if you want it online longer. Prices are shown in six currencies; the US dollar figures below were $49, $89 and $119 when we checked.

All paid plans include unlimited guests and co-hosts, a private gallery, content moderation and a 14-day money-back guarantee. "Unlimited" is subject to GuestPix's fair-use policy of up to 1,000 guests per event. Checked on GuestPix's wedding pricing page on September 20, 2026.

The fine print that matters at a wedding

1. Classic closes uploads after three months

This is the one to know. On the $49 plan, guests can add photos for three months from your event date, and then the upload window closes even though the gallery stays online for a year. Guests routinely find wedding photos on their phones six months later. If you want the full year, the price is $89.

2. Guests type a name before uploading

GuestPix's how-it-works page describes the flow: guests scan, land on your welcome screen, "add their name (so you know who's accessed)," and then upload. The upside is that your ZIP download is sorted into a folder per guest. The cost is one more screen between the scan and the photo, and at a reception every extra tap loses a few people. Whether that trade is worth it is a judgment call; we'd rather have the upload first and the name optional.

3. "Unlimited" has a ceiling

Unlimited uploads are subject to a fair-use policy that caps events at 1,000 guests. For a wedding that's irrelevant, but if you're a planner or a venue using the Bundle for large events, read the policy.

4. Twelve months of hosting, then a renewal fee

Every plan hosts the gallery for 12 months from the event date. After that GuestPix offers a paid renewal at a discounted rate. It's optional, and the ZIP download is free within the year, so download early and you'll never need it.

5. No audio guestbook

GuestPix's guestbook takes written and video messages. If you want guests to leave voice notes, the kind that sound like a voicemail from your grandmother, GuestPix doesn't do that. GuestCam and WeddingSnap both do.

6. One QR code and one digital invite per gallery

Classic and Signature each include a single QR code and a single digital invitation with RSVPs. That's fine for one event. For a rehearsal dinner, shower and wedding you're looking at the $119 Bundle, or reusing one code across all three days.

What GuestPix does well

• Sign and table card templates. More than 180 editable Canva templates is the deepest library in this category. If you already use Canva for your stationery, matching everything takes minutes.
• RSVPs and digital invitations in the same tool. Every paid plan includes a digital invite with RSVP tracking. Nobody else in the QR photo category bundles this except Wedibox.
• A guestbook with video. Written messages and short video messages sit alongside the photos, which makes a nice keepsake.
• Organization. Super Albums let you group photos, hide albums from guests, restrict uploads or close the gallery, all from the host dashboard. The ZIP arrives in original resolution, in a folder per guest.
• Languages. The guest experience is offered in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese and several more, which matters for international guest lists.
• Live slideshow. Photos and videos rotate onto a screen as guests upload them.
• A free way to test. The free demo gives you 50 photos for 30 days with no card, enough to try the guest flow with friends.

Where GuestPix falls short

• Price for one wedding. $49 for a 3-month window or $89 for 12 months is the top of the market. WeddingSnap is $39.99 with 12 months, GuestCam is $49 with 6 months, Wedibox is $49 with 6 months, and all three include unlimited uploads.
• The name step. Guests fill in a name before uploading. Small, but it's friction that WeddingSnap and Kululu don't add.
• No voice messages. Written and video only.
• Self-hosted reviews. The 4.8 rating lives on GuestPix's own pages; there's no independent review profile to cross-check it against. That doesn't make it wrong, just unverifiable.

GuestPix vs Kululu

Kululu's Plus plan is $39 but caps at 500 uploads with a one-month window and three months of storage; its $99 Pro plan is unlimited with a three-month window. GuestPix Classic at $49 is unlimited with 12 months of hosting, so for a wedding it's the better value of the two despite costing $10 more. GuestCam is $49 for unlimited uploads, a 6-month upload window, 12 months of storage, a live slideshow and a web audio guestbook, with a phone-in number for $30 extra. Wedibox is $49 for unlimited uploads, a 6-month window and a year of storage, with an audio guestbook and a wedding website; the $79 plan adds RSVPs and seating. Who should choose GuestPix

Choose GuestPix if you want RSVPs and photo collection in one place, you'll build your signs in Canva, you have guests who'd appreciate a non-English upload screen, or you're covering three events and want the Bundle. It's a mature product from the biggest company in the space, and the 14-day guarantee lets you back out.

Skip GuestPix, or at least skip Classic, if you want guests to keep uploading for a full year at the base price, if you want an audio guestbook, or if $39.99 versus $49 to $89 matters to your budget.
